Earning fresh credit each year (retaking a course)
Since most CE requirements reset annually, you can retake the same course for a new certificate.

Because unlimited attempts are included with every course, you're free to complete the same course again in a later year to generate a new, dated certificate for that year's CE requirement. This is a normal way to use CMES if a particular course is relevant to your role every year — you don't need to find a "different" course each time just to have something new to submit.
