What study notes are, and how they're different from a course

Study notes are short breakdowns of specific clinical concepts, written to help you think through a scenario the way you would in the field, rather than to prepare for an exam. They're a companion to CMES's full courses, not a replacement for them — you won't get CME credit or a certificate from reading a study note on its own, since credit comes from completing the courses that include assessments and certification.


New study notes are added regularly, tied to the concepts covered in CMES courses.
